Alnoor University participates in the periodic meeting of the Deans’ Committee of Engineering Specializations in Iraqi Technical Universities

Alnoor University participated in the regular meeting of the Committee of Engineering Deans at the Iraqi Technical Universities, hosted by the Northern Technical University in the University Council Hall. The meeting was attended by the President of the Northern Technical University, Professor Dr. Alia Abbas Ali Alattar, along with a distinguished group of academic leaders and the deans of engineering colleges and institutes from across Iraq.

Alnoor University was represented at the meeting by Professor Dr. Bashar Mahmoud Ali, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, and Professor Dr. Kamil Ali Abdulmohsen, Dean of the Technical Engineering College. The participants discussed a number of academic and strategic issues related to the development of engineering education and the enhancement of the quality of its outcomes, in line with labor market demands and the latest scientific and technological advancements.

The meeting addressed the updating of curricula and study plans, the enhancement of the educational environment and scientific research, and reviewed the key challenges and opportunities facing engineering disciplines. It concluded with a set of recommendations aimed at supporting the ongoing process of academic and institutional development across higher education institutions.
