In the presence of Professor Dr. Yaseen Taha Alhajjar, President of Alnoor University, Professor Dr. Ismail Abdulwahab, the University’s Scientific Assistant President, and the deans of the Colleges of Engineering, Engineering Technology, Health and Medical Technologies, and Arts, the university hosted on Saturday, January 17, 2026, Dr. Ihsan Altaie, coming from Canada and holding a PhD in Corrosion Science and Metallurgical Engineering, as part of its scientific activities aimed at promoting academic engagement and openness to international expertise.
Dr. Altaie delivered a scientific lecture titled “Innovation: Its Concepts and an Introduction to Its Fundamental Steps”, in which he discussed the concept of innovation and its importance in advancing scientific research and industry. He outlined the basic stages of the innovation process and its role in providing practical solutions to engineering and scientific problems, while highlighting successful global experiences in this field.
The lecture was attended by a number of faculty members, researchers, and university students, who engaged with its topics through discussions and interventions, emphasizing the importance of such events in connecting theoretical knowledge with practical application and enriching the university environment with contemporary ideas that contribute to the development of research and creative capacities.
