Iraqi Engineers Syndicate Nineveh Branch, in cooperation with Alnoor University, is organizing a celebration for Iraqi Engineer Day
In partnership with Alnoor University, the Iraqi Engineers Syndicate / Nineveh Branch held a celebration for Iraqi Engineer Day under the slogan “Engineers are the Builders of Iraq.” The event was attended by a wide official and academic presence, including a number of officials from Nineveh Governorate, as well as engineering, academic, and community figures. The celebration embodied the status of the Iraqi engineer and his historical role in building the nation and shaping its future.
The celebration witnessed a comprehensive program that reviewed the history of Iraqi engineering across the ages, starting from the ancient civilization of Nineveh and the illustrious Assyrian engineering, and extending to the major role that Iraqi engineers play today in reconstruction, the implementation of vital projects, and the development of infrastructure as well as educational, health, and service institutions.
The celebration also featured official speeches emphasizing the importance of supporting engineering talent and strengthening its role in development and reconstruction. The event included honoring the top engineering students from the colleges of engineering across Nineveh Governorate's universities, as well as paying tribute to the families of martyred engineers who sacrificed their lives in service to Iraq and the engineering profession. In addition, a number of distinguished engineers shared their success stories, highlighting their remarkable contributions and achievements in professional practice and innovation.
