The Technical Engineering College at Alnoor University held a scientific workshop on information preservation

In the presence of Professor Dr. Kamel Ali Abdel Mohsen, Dean of the Technical Engineering College at Alnoor University, the college held a specialized scientific workshop addressing the topic of information retention and modern storage mechanisms.
The workshop included a scientific and practical comparison between traditional storage units (Hard Disk Drives) and flash memory technologies (Flash Memory), highlighting the advantages and disadvantages of each in terms of speed, storage capacity, cost, and lifespan, as well as outlining the potential risks that could lead to data loss.
The workshop also highlighted the main technical causes of file loss, such as sudden malfunctions, viruses, and misuse, in addition to providing practical solutions to ensure data safety, including regular backups, using reliable protection systems, and relying on multiple storage media.
